ANHUI PROVINCE

Anhui, referred to as "Anhui" for short, is a provincial administrative region of the People's Republic of China. Hefei, the capital of the province. Located in eastern China, Anhui is bounded by 114 degrees 54'-119 degrees 37', 29 degrees 41'-34 degrees 38', Jiangsu and Zhejiang in the east.

Huaibei, referred to as "Huaibei" for short, was known as "Xiangcheng" in ancient times, a prefecture-level city in Anhui Province. The central city of Northeast Anhui Province is an important energy city in China. Located in the northern part of Anhui Province, it is located at the junction of Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces, with Xiaoxian County in the north, Bozhou in the south, Suzhou in the East and Shangqiu in Henan in the west. It is 150 kilometers long in North and south, 50 kilometers wide in East and west, and has a total area of 2802 square kilometers. It is the smallest prefecture-level city in Anhui Province. In 2016, the total population was 2165,000.

Huaibei has a long history and rich humanities. More than 4,000 years ago, the ancestor of Shang and Tang Dynasty XI built a civil city at the southern foot of Xiangshan Mountain, which was the origin of civilization. Since then, successive dynasties have set up counties and counties here. There are such sages and philosophers as Ji Shu, Huantan, Jikang and Liu Ling. Scenic spots include Mountain Park, Longji Mountain, Nanhu Wetland Park, Huajiahu Lake, Stone Street, Linhuan Ancient Town, Sui and Tang Canal Ancient Town, Dafang Temple and so on. The memorial sites include the former site of the General Front Committee of the Huaihai Campaign and the old site of the Shuangdui Battlefield, which is known as the Jiangnan Area of Northern Anhui Province.
